Truck Driving CDL Schools in Tennessee
Looking for a job that I was interested in, was not an easy proposition. Everywhere I went it seemed that doors were being shut in my face. I was tired of being told you are over qualified, or worse we have no jobs at this time for people with your experience. It was a depressing proposition not to be working, considering I had worked consistently since I was 17 years old. But those jobs, along with the healthy economy we once thought would never fail us, have disappeared. Who would ever think that teachers, accountants and executives would be collecting unemployment? So when a friend of mine suggested looking into truck driving as a career, I decided to look into the possibilities of becoming a truck driver, and saw that my previous beliefs about truck driving were incorrect. Not all truck drivers were men, and not all fit the stereotype of rough and tumble individuals. They really are just people who have found a way of earning money that can bring over 50k a year, plus benefits. All you have to do is find the Truck Driving CDL Schools in Tennessee that offer this excellent education.
Sure there are downsides to the career, long hours without your family around, for some people that might not present as big a hardship as for others. Quiet solitude is not a negative concern for everyone. The chance to be able to financially provide for your family is important as well. Everyone is not the same; some people’s personalities do not fit the job description of truck driver. They are by nature, social creatures and the thought for them of being alone in the cab of a truck, is not for them. But even these people when faced with the idea of extended joblessness, sometimes think that truck driving might be for them. Then they sign up for an accredited truck driving course and receive their CDL license to become truck drivers.

CDL School Tennessee
I needed a secure job, one that I could depend on providing for me and my family. I was tired of dead end jobs, that were here one day and gone another. Jobs that paid a bare subsistence living but did not provide benefits. I had a clean driving record, and decided a bit off the beaten path career choice was to become a long distance truck driver. I knew that in that profession there were more applicants than there were jobs, and that was a reassuring prospect. I had not worked in over two years except for per diem jobs, and temporary employment. I knew I had to find a top notch CDL School in Tennessee
The Tennessee Truck Driving School was a place that I wanted to give a chance. After a short, three week training class, this course covered all aspects of truck driving safety. The federal rules and regulations for the CDL license and retaining a license were also gone over. The most important thing was the possibility of a high paying job with the good chance of benefits. There are other kinds of jobs there, but few if any offer an employer paid benefits package.
When you look at how consumer goods are shipped cross country, the most popular way is by truck, not by ship, plane or train. It is cost effective to ship in this way. And in every truck there has a has to be a truck driver. And they should be appropriately trained by a reputable school. One that trains over 300 students a year and most get jobs upon graduation. Those are pretty good odds in my book. There are representatives from the larger trucking companies who visit the school to recruit potential employees to their companies. And it’s a world where the future graduates can almost pick the jobs that they want, and ask for the salary they desire, within certain limits.

Knoxville CDL School
What kind of career these days will provide you with a guaranteed income, and give you job security? If you are tired of looking for a job that will give you enough money to support your family, then maybe you should consider becoming a truck driver. The Tennessee driving school offers a three week training course, where you will learn all you need to know to begin a career as a long distance truck driver. Sure there is a downside to this career, which is time spent away from your family, long hours with no one to talk to , but the rewards of this career make up for it . Most if not all graduates of the training course have jobs before they graduate, averaging 1000 dollars a week to start with.
You must follow the federal rules and regulations regarding licenses, keep your skills up to date, and your equipment in good working order and chances are you will have a career that will keep you flush with money for many years to come. The biggest requirement is the federal regulation that your Tennessee CDL license and medical card are tied together. Either they are either good or they are both bad. When your CDL license expires so does your medical card. A further “fly in the ointment” is that if your Body Mass index is 35 or higher and you have a 17 inch neck size it is assumed that you have sleep apnea, whether or not that you do. It is up to you to prove otherwise, The bottom line is the cost has to be incurred by you, to get a medical examiner specifically authorized for CDL licenses to attest that you do not have this condition or buy the sleep apnea machine.
